Death of a King

Laptop has died. Luckily I'm pretty sure most of Redwald is backed up. The only thing I think I've lost is a write up of Cernric son of Cedric the King of the Westlund Seaxe who is the most powerful NPC and the setting's big bad. On a positive note I wasn't pleased with what I'd written for him so no great loss. However, there probably won't be any Redwald updates until I have a replacement.

  1. bummer. redwald is probably the best setting that has came out of the OSR. even if you are not into OSR or retro-clones redwald is great. for example, i am currently planning and running one ring rpg campaign and redwald is priceless resource.

    1. Cheers opossum101. That's high praise. Out of interest do you mind me asking which Redwald bits your going to use in your one ring campaign?

    2. bestiary first and foremost. i am doing more of a hobbity anglo-saxon beowulf-lite stuff. but rest of it is as brilliant as the bestiary. shining ones? scary. i love it even when i can not pronounce it.

  2. Computer death is always a bugger Lee. I hope you get it sorted soon. I'm glad to hear you didn't lose too much on the Redwald front. I hope too that you find that you did back up your novel.

    1. Cheers, David. Manged to reboot laptop so haven't lost anything. But Laptop is definitely on it's arse so will prolly end up losing time in the process of replacing it.
